The AL8807A is a step-down DC/DC converter designed to drive LEDs with a constant current. The device can drive up to 9 white HIGH brightness LEDs in series from a voltage source of 6V to 36V.

Description
The AL8807B is a step-down DC/DC converter designed to drive LEDs with a constant current. The device can drive up to 9 LEDs, depending on the forward voltage of the LEDs, in series from a voltage source of 6V to 36V. Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED currents resulting in uniform brightness and eliminating the need for ballast resistors. The AL8807B switches at frequency up to 1MHz with controlled rise and fall times to reduce EMI. This alLOWs the use of small size external components, hence minimizing the PCB area needed.
Maximum output current of AL8807B is set via an external resistor connected between the VIN and SET input pins. DIMMING is achieved by applying a PWM signal at the CTRL input pin. An input voltage of 0.4V or LOWer at CTRL switches off the output MOSFET simplifying PWM DIMMING.

ISL8033 is a dual integrated power controller rated for 3A per channel with a 1MHz step-down regulator that is ideal for any LOW power LOW-voltage applications. The ISL8033A offers 2.5MHz operation for smaller more compacted design. The channels are 180° out-of-phase for input RMS current and EMI reduction. It is optimized for generating LOW output voltages down to 0.8V each. The supply voltage RANGE is from 2.85V to 6V, alLOWing for the use of a single Li+ cell, three NiMH cells or a regulated 5V input. DESCRIPTION
The PT6911 is ideally suited for AC/DC BUCK LED drivers. Since the PT6911 includes an 8V-450V linear regulator which alLOWs it to work from a WIDE RANGE of input voltages without the need for an external LOW voltage supply. Besides, the PT6911 operates in hysteretic control mode, the controller achieves good output current regulation without the need for any loop compensation. The PT6911 delivers constant current within HIGH accuracy to a WIDE variety and number of series connected LEDs.
The PT6911 includes PWM DIMMING and linear DIMMING functions. The PWM DIMMING input can accept an external control signal with a duty cycle of 0~100% and a frequency between 100Hz and a few KHz. Output current to LED string can be programmed to any value between 0 to its maximum value by PWM DIMMING. Also, a 0~1.2V linear DIMMING input can be used for linear DIMMING of the LED current.
